Updating a Procedure

This article explains how to update a published procedure. This must be done from a desktop.

Before you start


On Desktop Only

  1. From the left menu, select Documents and Files > Procedures.

  2. Click on the 3-dot-png-1 menu on the right hand side and select Edit on the applicable procedure. This will create a new version of the procedure under the Draft tab and open it in an editable window.

  3. Edit the document as required as follows:
    1. PDF: If the document is an imported PDF you will need to delete the PDF using the delete icon in the top right corner and drag in another PDF using the PDF Builder Element.
    2. Editor: If the document is a text document you can edit the content by clicking on the edit pencil icon in the top right corner and make the desired changes.
  4. Once completed click Save, then Preview.

    The three icons at the top of the preview screen represent the view on a mobile device, tablet and the desktop.  Click on either one of these to preview the document in the selected format.

  5. If the document is final, click on the Publish button then you will be prompted to fill in the details about the document.

    Either upload your signature or sign using your mouse onscreen. Fill in all required fields marked with an orange asterisk and select which access level groups of users can access and view the document at any time then click Publish.

The formatting options at the top of the edit window provide content that can be inserted into a procedure as follows:

  • PPE - insert icons to represent the required PPE.
  • Business Name - insert the name of the business by going to Business > [Business Name]. This will insert the name of the business populated in the Business Tab.
  • Image - insert an image using the image icon.
  • Link - you can insert a URL link (eg. website, Youtube video) using the link icon.

Uploaded links, images (excluding PPE icons inserted) and files will not be available in offline mode.
