Assigning Procedures

Keep things running smoothly - assign Procedures to guide your team’s actions, including for key tasks and safe work/operating Procedures.

Note: Your Access Level may restrict the use of some features.

Procedures can be viewed and accepted on the App, see Accepting Procedures (App).

Procedures can be assigned to:

  • An individual user,
  • A selected group of users, 
  • One or more Access Levels, or 
  • Previous assignees. Only available when assigning a single Procedure.

Assigning Procedures

  1. From the left menu, select Documents > Procedures
  2. Procedures can be assigned by either:
    1. Clicking Assign Procedure, or 
    2. Selecting the checkboxes beside the required Procedures, and selecting Assign Procedures from the Bulk Action menu and Apply.
  3. Use the Assign Procedures pop-up to add Procedures, Users and Instructions.
    1. Title - includes the current versions of published Procedures.
    2. Assign To - select who will be assigned the Procedures. They can be assigned to one or more Individuals and/or Access Levels.
    3. Instructions - will be visible to the Assignee.  
    4. Previous Assignees - will be shown when assigning a single Procedure. If selected, this will add anyone who had been assigned or completed the previous version, where applicable.  
  4. Once finished, click Assign. Users will be notified via a notification in the Desktop and App.
