Before you start
- You will need to have Added an Inventory Record
If a piece of equipment has been mechanically locked or tagged out due to being damaged or unsafe, the item can be locked out/tagged out in your Safe Ag System using the Lockout or Tagout option.
On Desktop
- In the side menu, select Inventory > Machinery and Equipment / Structures / Tools and find the applicable item, click the
menu and select Edit.
- Select the Lockout or Tagout checkbox.
- Click Save.
This will send a notification to all users that the item has been locked out/tagged out. It will also place a lockout icon on the applicable record on the desktop. Users on the app will also receive a message advising of the Lockout/Tagout if they access the applicable inventory item.
On App
- From the main menu, select Inventory > Machinery and Equipment / Structures / Tools then tap on the applicable inventory item or scan the machine's QR Code.
- Tap Edit.
- Navigate to Lockout or Tagout near the bottom of the form and select
