Lockout/Tagout Inventory (App)

Inventory that is unsafe to operate should be Locked out/Tagged out to ensure it is not inadvertently used.

Note: Your Access Level may restrict the use of some features.

To lockout/tagout on the Desktop, see Lockout/Tagout Inventory.

  1. Open the Inventory item: 
    1. From the main menu icon-hamburgermenu, select Inventory > Machinery and Equipment or Structures or Tools and tap the inventory item or
    2. Tap QR Code icon-qr and scan the item's QR code.
  2. Tap more options ••• > Lockout/Tagout. 
  3. Tap Continue.

Alerts:

  • A push notification is sent to all users when an item is locked/tagged out.

  • A warning message will be displayed when the item is accessed from the App.

  • The icon-lockout-red icon is applied to the Inventory item, visible on the Desktop and App.
