Business Administrators and Supervisors have the ability to assign Inductions to a user through both the Desktop and the App.
Before you start
- You will need to have Added an Induction
On Desktop
Via a user's record from Manage People
- From the left menu, go to People > Manage People and select the user tile for the individual.
- Navigate to the Inductions tab and click Assign Induction button.
- Select the Induction Type from the dropdown menu and click Save.
The Inductee will receive a push notification that an Induction has been assigned and needs to be completed.
Clicking on the notification from the App will open to start the Induction.
Via Start Induction
- From the left menu, select People > Start Induction > Start New.
- Select the Induction Type, Inductor (If you aren't the Inductor, select an alternative Inductor from the dropdown menu) and then select the Inductee from the dropdown menu.
- Click Send or Begin.
- If you click Send, the user will receive a notification that an Induction has been assigned and needs to be completed. Clicking on the notification from the App will open to start the Induction.
- If you click Begin this will start the Induction on the desktop.
- If you click Send, the user will receive a notification that an Induction has been assigned and needs to be completed. Clicking on the notification from the App will open to start the Induction.
If you start the induction from the desktop and you are not logged in as the Inductee, you will not be able to sign off the Induction.
Once you reach the sign off stage of the Induction, the inductee would need to log into their own account to sign off the Induction. This can be done on either the desktop or the App.
On App
- From the main menu, select Inductions > Assign Inductions > My People.
- Select the Induction Type from the dropdown menu.
- If you are not the Inductor, select an alternative Inductor from the dropdown menu.
- Select the Inductee from the dropdown list.
- Click Send. The user will receive a notification that an Induction has been assigned and needs to be completed. Clicking on the notification from the App will open to start the Induction.
