Policies Overview

Policies are your business rules and are a useful tool for setting down in writing your expectations and the do's and don’ts of what is acceptable at work.

NOTE: Your Access Level may restrict the use of some features.

Safe Ag Systems provides a library of common policies which can be accessed from the Template Library and edited to suit the needs of your business. 

  • If you have existing policies you can add these to your system using the Build New function.
  • Once you have created and published a policy, it appears on the Published tab and is available for use.
  • If you no longer need a policy, you can archive it. This removes it from use, but it can be viewed from the Archive tab in case you need to access it in future.
  • When you update a policy, a new version is created and a copy of the old version is saved in the Archive.
  • You can assign a policy to a worker for them to review and accept using the Assign Policy function on the Published tab of Policies.
  • The Policy Logs tab shows a list of policies that have been assigned to or accepted by workers. (A report of Policy Logs can also be generated under Administration > Reporting)
  • You can attach a policy to an induction or a task to ensure that workers are aware of any requirements before starting work for your company.
