Content Marketing Specialist (12-Month Maternity Cover)

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to cover a 12-month maternity leave period, with the potential for extension.

About the Role

This role is crucial in maintaining and growing our organic traffic, optimising our website for lead and trial conversions, and ensuring our content strategy continues to drive measurable results.

You’ll work closely with our Social Media Coordinator (video specialist) and in-house UX Designer (animation & design support), as well as use HubSpot to manage email campaigns and website updates.


Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & SEO

  • Maintain and grow organic traffic through strategic content planning.
  • Optimise existing content for SEO and lead generation.
  • Plan and execute a content calendar (blogs, landing pages, email campaigns).

Website Optimisation & HubSpot Management

  • Manage and optimize the website using HubSpot CMS.
  • Create and update landing pages, ensuring they drive lead and trial conversions.
  • Conduct A/B tests to improve website and content performance.

Lead Nurturing & Email Marketing

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns via HubSpot.
  • Create lead nurture sequences that align with sales and marketing goals.
  • Monitor and optimise email performance (open rates, CTR, conversions).

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work with the Social Media Coordinator to align blog & video content.
  • Support the Sales team with content that improves lead quality.
  • Track and report on content performance, adjusting strategy as needed.


What We’re Looking For

  • 2-4+ years of experience in Content Marketing, SEO, or Digital Marketing
    Experience with HubSpot (CMS, email marketing, landing pages)
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices & lead generation strategies
  • Proven ability to write and edit high-quality long-form and short-form content
  • Experience analysing content performance and optimizing based on data
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to content marketing


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in SaaS or Agriculture Technology Marketing
  • A background in copywriting, journalism, or content strategy
  • Experience managing Adwords and paid social media accounts
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO tools
