Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show (YAMS)

Staffordshire County Show

Royal Cornwall Show

Where: Royal Cornwall Showground, Whitecross, Saint Austell

About: Every year, for three days in June, the best in entertainment, agriculture, shopping, and competition converge at the Royal Cornwall Show. South of England Show

Where: South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex

About: The South of England Show is a three-day countryside celebration at Ardingly, West Sussex, featuring livestock and equestrian competitions, rural crafts, country pursuits, and live entertainment. With food, drink, shopping, and family activities, it’s one of the UK’s premier agricultural shows.

 

Cereals

Where: Roy Ward Farms Ltd, Leadenham, Lincolnshire

About: The Cereals Event is the UK’s leading arable farming show, this year taking place at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm. This trade-only event brings together 550 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors for crop technology, machinery demos, and expert insights

 

Armagh County Agricultural Show and Country Festival

Where: Gosford Forest Park, close to the village of Markethill, Armagh

North Yorkshire County Agricultural Show

Royal Norfolk Show

Hanbury Countryside Show

About: The Hanbury Countryside Show is a day-long event celebrating farming, countryside, and rural life. It features the best of Worcestershire, including animals, food, and activities for everyone.

 

Kent County Show

Where: Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone, Kent

About: The Kent County Show is a big event in the area that celebrates farming, agriculture, and life in the countryside. Every year for three days, there are animals, horses, old cars, shops, and more all coming together at the Kent Showground to enjoy the best things the county has to offer.

 

Latheron Agricultural Show

Where: West Clyth Farm, Lybster

About: The Latheron Show is a traditional Highland agricultural event featuring livestock competitions, horse classes, home industries, and a vibrant flower show. Stithians Show

Where: The Showground, Stithians, Truro Cornwall

Great Yorkshire Show

Where: Regional Agricultural Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate

About: Featuring world-class livestock competitions, cutting-edge machinery, countryside displays, and family entertainment, it’s a four-day celebration of farming, food, and rural life.

 

Castlewellan Agricultural Show

When: 18th July 2026

Where: Mullaghmore, Hilltown, Newry

About: Visitors can explore a variety of trade stands, enjoy food and crafts, listen to live music, see vintage tractors and carriages, participate in countryside activities, compete in Young Farmers competitions, check out a pet show, visit a fashion tent and a vintage tea tent.

 

Driffield Show

When: 22nd July 2026

Where: Driffield Showground, Kelleythorpe, Driffield

About: The Driffield Show has a wide variety of activities, displays, and educational content for everyone, no matter their interests. It's especially popular among livestock exhibitors and features some of the best animals in the area, including top-quality cattle, sheep, and pigs.

 

Royal Welsh Show

When: 20th to 23rd July 2026

Where: Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells

About: The Royal Welsh Show offers a thrilling four-day event with livestock and horse competitions attracting participants from all over. It also features a diverse selection of activities like forestry, gardening, crafts, outdoor sports, shopping, food, and drink. Each day includes 12 hours of fun entertainment, attractions, and displays.

 

Mid Devon Show

When: 25th July 2026

Where: Knightshayes, Chettiscombe, Tiverton

About: The Mid Devon Show offers a variety of fun activities like entertainment, food, shopping, live music, and farm experiences. It's a nine-hour event where you can learn about Devon's history, try local food, and enjoy its best attractions.

 

Heckington Show

When: 25th and 26th July 2026

Where: Heckington, Sleaford

About: At Heckington Show there are kid-friendly areas with free workshops, animal shows, concerts, historical displays, sports, showjumping, old machines, delicious food, and more.

 

Yealmpton Agricultural Show

When: 26th July 2026

Where: Kitley Lawns, Yealmpton, Plymouth

About: Yealmpton Show is all about farming and rural life. Attendees can expect to see horses, ponies, cows, sheep, goats, a dog show, and a pet show. There will also be a Homecraft Marquee with cakes, jams, crafts, and flowers, and a Horticultural Marquee with fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

 

Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show

When: 3rd - 5th July 2026

Where: Salesbury Hall, Ribchester

About: The Royal Lancashire Show is a three-day celebration of rural life. Featuring livestock classes, horse events, dog shows, trade stands, and family entertainment, it’s one of the North West’s premier agricultural shows.

Berwickshire County Show

Where: Maingate Park, Duns Castle Estate, Duns, Berwickshire

About: The Berwickshire County Show features an agricultural livestock show, alongside family entertainment, horse events, a poultry show, a vintage display, and a dog show, all set against the backdrop of a stunning location next to Duns Castle.

 

Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show

When: 19th and 20th August 2026

Where: Turnpike Showgrounds, Motcombe, Shaftesbury, Dorset

About: The Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show is a vibrant showcase for agriculture, welcoming over 70 agricultural stands, including 15 that feature machinery. This not only makes it a fun day out but also a prime opportunity for networking. Visitors can indulge in locally produced cheese, sausages, cake, cider, pastries, coffee, fudge, flapjacks, gin, and much more.

 

Chagford Show

When: 20th August 2026

Where: Showground, Dogmarsh fields, Mill End, Chagford

About: The Chagford Show, with its diverse competition classes for agricultural produce, horses, sheep, cattle, dogs, and a vintage section, truly captures the essence of a traditional country fair. It boasts over 200 Trade Stands, a Rural Crafts area, a Food Hall showcasing the finest local producers, and an abundance of live music throughout the day.

 

Ashbourne Show

When: 15th August 2026

Where: Ashbourne, Derbyshire

About: The Ashbourne Show offers the perfect family day out, featuring the traditional display of horses, cattle, sheep, and more, all set against the backdrop of a bustling arena. This lively setting is complemented by a variety of family shows and an array of trade and family stands.

 

Poynton Show

When: 23rd August 2026

Where: Poynton, Stockport

About: Combining agricultural machinery, cattle, horses, sheep, donkeys, small livestock, horticulture, and a main ring featuring an array of amazing new acts, live music, and a fair. Additionally, it includes creative hobbies and crafts, trade, and food stalls, making it a great value day out.

 

Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show

When: 30th and 31st August 2026

Where: The Ardenrun Showground at Tandridge Lane, Lingfield, Surrey

About: A traditional event where rural communities from Kent, Surrey, and Sussex gather to showcase farming, rural life, and the finest food and drink from across the counties and beyond. Enjoy top-class competitions for livestock, horses, gundogs, and horticulture.

Alresford Agricultural Show

When: 5th  September 2026

Where: Alesford, Hampshire

About: The Alresford Agricultural Show is a celebration of rural life and the communities that call it home. It's a one-day event, taking place in the picturesque Tichborne Park. Attendees can enjoy watching prize-winning animals, horse competitions, local food and drink, marvel at both modern and vintage machinery, and browse stalls.

 

Keighley & District Agricultural Show

When: 5th  September 2026

Where: Marley Fields, Aireworth Road, Keighley

About: A family event featuring classes on cattle and sheep, horses of all sizes, and donkey classes, a fun dog show, vintage tractors, handmade items and produce, gardening and horticulture (vegetables, fruits, flowers), special activities, food and craft stands.

 

Westmorland County Show

When: 9th and 10th September 2026

Where: Lane Farm, Crooklands, Milnthorpe, Cumbria

About: Featuring top-quality livestock classes, equestrian displays, rural crafts, Cumberland wrestling, and the North West’s largest local Food Hall, it’s a true celebration of farming and countryside life.

 

Henley Farm and Country Show

Where: The Henley Showground, Hambleden

About: The Henley Farm and Country Show is a major event in the area and is one of the few one-day agricultural shows remaining in Oxfordshire. The main show ring features impressive show jumping, light trade driving, livestock, classic car and tractor parades, as well as a great display of heavy horses.

Penistone Agricultural Show

Where: Penistone Showground

Nidderdale Show

Newark Vintage & Heritage Tractor Show

Future Farming Expo Scotland

About: The Future Farming Expo aimed to help Scotland become a top global leader in innovative, profitable, and sustainable farming. It was developed by farmers themselves, after thorough research on how to adapt to the evolving agricultural environment.

 

Midlands Machinery Show

About: It showcases the latest tractors, technology, and farming innovations with live demos, driving experiences, and over 200 exhibitors.

Royal Ulster Winter Fair

Where: Balmoral Park, Lisburn

The Royal Ulster Show is a place for farmers, dairy lovers, and industry experts to connect, trade, and look back on a hectic year. It features 190 trade stands and top dairy cows compete for the prestigious Supreme Interbreed Championship.
